

Once the policy is surrendered, the policyholder and the insured will lose the coverage provided by the policy and under no circumstance can the policy be reinstateed and/or restored. Additionally, it may not be possible to obtain similar coverage in the future under the same terms.








When the policy surrender, the policyholder is required to provide valid identification documents. If the policyholder holds a Hong Kong permanent resident identity card, a Macau permanent resident identity card, or a Chinese identity card, they can log in to the China Life Overseas APP to verify/update their documents. For other types of identity documents, a copy of the updated identification documents can be submitted to our company.
No. Policyholder may choose from the following payment methods:
- Transfer to the policyholder's personal local bank account
- Wire transfer to the policyholder's personal overseas bank account
- Cheque
- Transfer to a new policy or an existing policy under the policyholder's name.
If the policyholder resides in Mainland China and does not have a Hong Kong address / contact no and Hong Kong Bank Account, they may apply for non-crossed cheque payment by completing the "Request for Financial Services Form" and "Special Payment Arrangement Request Form". After filling out the form, please submit the form by following the submission instruction providedm.

- Certified True Copy of Identity document (If not submitted)
- Copy of bank book / bank card / bank statement which is issued within the past 3 months (including e-statement) /other valid account proof showing the bank account holder's name and account no.. (If select bank transfer or telegraphic transfer as payment method)
